Dr. Christopher Mast

Dr. Mast has been leading the charge in pain-free, laser dentistry in Montana. Dr. Mast attended Carroll College here in Helena. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota. Helena was the perfect place in his mind to open his dental practice. He has become so fond of this community, the biking trails, the easy going lifestyle of this town, and the family friendly environment. It has allowed him to grow and thrive in his personal and professional life. Dr. Mast started using lasers almost immediately in his dental practice. He knew it would be important to stay involved in the best dental technology has to offer to keep his patients healthy and comfortable. In recent years, Dr. Mast has become a Master Certified laser instructor and travels the country helping other dentists to reach their full potential using laser technology.

Dr Mast performs laser work in almost every procedure he performs in his office. From fillings, crowns, root canals, advanced periodontal treatments, and also helping infants and children experience no shots and pain-free dentistry. Dr. Mast currently uses his laser to help assist nursing for lip and tongue tied infants. He is experienced accessing the posterior deep tongue ties that are a difficult area for many to access. It is the least invasive and least traumatic technique available for this procedure. At the heart of this dentistry is the inclusion of providing superior care for the entire family. Rebeca Matthies

Rebeca has been with Mast Dentistry since 2018. She attended Capital High School and has been a Helenian since she was a child. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Science of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College in Wyoming. Rebeca enjoys her time with her patients and the individual care she can offer each of them. She enjoys educating patients in how dental health affects their overall health and seeing that translate into real change in their lives. She is a certified Waterlase Hygienist and uses her diode laser for each dental cleaning. For fun, she loves traveling, taking walks and hikes with her adorable dog while enjoying the beautiful Montana skies.

Aislinn Daley-Mast

Aislinn has been a part of Mast Dentistry from the beginning. Beyond managing the dental practice and coordinating appointments for our patients she trains and educates staff, as well as Carroll College students. She says what keeps her coming to work are the wonderful patients at Mast Laser Dentistry. She loves the Helena community and loves taking care of her friends, neighbors and local people that keep this community vibrant.

After 20 years of dental experience, she knows people of any age value their time, their money, and their teeth. Aislinn works hard to make sure patients understand what role dentistry plays in their overall health and well-being. She wants people to enjoy a health filled life and understand Mast Laser Dentistry can provide them with the best in laser dentistry.

Outside of the office she enjoys the abundance of hiking and biking trails in Helena. Being a mother of two high energy children and raising them in Montana is the best part of her life.  She also supports the Cohesion Dance Project and performed in their first year presentation of Nutcracker on the Rocks.

Aislinn is our in-house lactation specialist. She finds it so rewarding to work with mothers and babies supporting them through this important relationship and journey. Having had two tongue tied children and working through the same struggles as many mothers experience, it is edifying to bring advice and relief to new moms.

Dave Nielson

Dave has been with Mast Dentistry since 2021 and found us through his dentists in Wisconsin, whom we mentored as a student over a decade ago. He recently completed his Masters of Arts in Medical Science: Molecular Medicine cognate as a refresher before dental school. Dave has been a dental office manager, regional lab sales manager, and lab denture technician but wanted more hands-on experience with his patients and was eager to learn more about laser dentistry prior to dental school. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering for Great Divide Ski Patrol during the ski season and offseason enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and two dogs.

We have been mentoring future dentists for over 12 years. Carroll College students have been a big part our practice since the beginning. We are fortunate to have such bright and motivated students who have a true desire to learn and grow before entering dental school. You have met many of them throughout the years and have seen the great capacity they have for caring and helping our patients.
